Testimonials
Tan Kai Ling
Director, Raffles Trading Pte Ltd — Singapore
We had a supplier contract dispute that had been dragging for months. What I valued was that Wei Lin told us from the outset what she thought our position was — not what we wanted to hear. The matter settled through mediation within six weeks, which was far better than we had expected.

Arjun Mehta
CFO, Meridian Construction Group — Singapore
The arbitration involved a construction subcontractor in a multi-million dollar claim. The preparation was thorough and the written submissions were among the best I have seen — clear, well-structured, and focused on what the tribunal needed to understand. We achieved a favourable award.

Lim Hui Ting
Managing Director, Heritage Capital Advisors — Singapore
We engaged Kampong Law for a shareholder dispute that had the potential to become protracted. Rajan was excellent in the mediation session — patient, well-prepared, and effective at steering the negotiation. We reached a documented settlement that worked for all parties. I would not have expected it to resolve so cleanly.

Christopher Woo
General Counsel, Pacific Supply Chain Ltd — Singapore
The litigation advice we received on a debt recovery matter was clear and practical. Sheena kept us informed at every stage, which meant our internal team could plan around it. Fees were as discussed — no surprises. The matter concluded with full recovery plus costs.

Nisha Subramaniam
Co-founder, Saras Technology Pte Ltd — Singapore
We had a dispute with a former joint venture partner over IP ownership. Kampong Law walked us through the ICC process in detail before we committed to it. The engagement was well-organised — submissions were always filed ahead of deadline and the team communicated clearly throughout. We would use them again.

Richard Goh
Owner, Goh Brothers Trading — Singapore
A relatively modest contract dispute, not the sort of matter where you'd expect a firm to give it much attention. Kampong Law treated it seriously and advised me honestly about what was and wasn't worth pursuing. We settled on reasonable terms and the total cost was within what they had indicated from the start.

Selected Dispute Outcomes
Three representative matters illustrating how our approach translates into outcomes. Identifying details have been changed.
Challenge
A logistics company faced a SGD 340,000 claim from a freight forwarder following a disputed service agreement. The claimant had commenced SIAC arbitration and the client had limited documentation supporting its position on the key contested deliveries.
Solution
Kampong Law conducted a careful review of the available documentation and identified contemporaneous records that partially contradicted the claimant's account. Written submissions focused on the most defensible points, and the team prepared two witnesses for cross-examination.
Outcome
The tribunal awarded approximately 40% of the claimed sum — significantly less than the claimant had sought. The client's legal costs were largely recovered. The matter concluded within eleven months of the notice of arbitration.

Challenge
Two co-founders of a technology company had reached an irreconcilable disagreement over the direction of the business. One sought a buyout; the other refused. Both parties were committed to avoiding litigation if at all possible, given the ongoing business operations.
Solution
Rajan Nair facilitated a two-session mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre, with Kampong Law acting for one of the founders. Pre-mediation preparation included a detailed position paper and a realistic valuation range to anchor the negotiation.
Outcome
A structured buyout was agreed at the second session. The parties signed a settlement agreement within three weeks of the mediation concluding. The company continued trading throughout the process with no public proceedings filed.

Challenge
A Singapore-based importer was owed SGD 88,000 by a buyer who had taken delivery of goods but disputed the quality. The buyer was threatening a counterclaim for consequential losses. The client needed an honest view of whether to pursue or settle, and on what terms.
Solution
Sheena Ho reviewed the contractual documentation and quality reports and advised that the counterclaim risk was low but not negligible. A pre-action letter was issued, followed by a without-prejudice negotiation. Kampong Law advised the client on the acceptable settlement range based on the merits.
Outcome
The matter settled at SGD 72,000 — 82% recovery — within two months of the initial enquiry. No court proceedings were filed. The client found the total process cost (including legal fees) to be well within what had been indicated at the outset.
Duration: 8 weeks · Pre-litigation settlement
